This year's GRC2023 conference theme of ‘Step Up!’ determined the design of the day:
- Compliance risk practice evolution and maturity – the gains of compliance experience and business strategy combined.
- Feedback from key regulators about expectations above and beyond the letter of the law requirements and how they expect the complex challenges that regulation is designed to solve, to be responded to.
- Values and strategic risk areas where little guidance is provided, or it’s patchy or technical – such as ESG, cyber, scams, AI and technology.
